Preparation

As I start to seriously think about my summer plans, I thought it would fun if I created this blog to record my experiences. I leave for Germany in two weeks, and will be staying with a host family in Pinnenburg (a suburb of Hamburg) for two more weeks. As the rest of my classmates return home, I will be meeting my mom and brother in Paris so that we can take the TGV train down to Grenoble in the Alps for my aunt's wedding in July (my dad is really bummed because he'll be here holding down the fort). Our plans there for the next eighteen days are uncertain, although we may be visiting with a relative in Spain or with family friends in Italy. Once that part is over, we'll be heading off to England, and we will be there in time for the Harry Potter premiere. We will be in England for four more days, then we will return home to Maryland for two more weeks. I will prepare for my Senior Independent Project then and possibly go on a few college visits, then it's off to Colombia for my uncle's wedding. After that, I return to America for good and I hope to work on some college applications.
